Miso

Here in Melbourne we're really lucky to have a vibrant, diverse art culture. 21-year-old Miso (a.k.a. Stanislava Pinchuk) creates beautiful street art that often captures the spirit of the Ukraine, her home country.

An inspiring young talent, Miso has already held a solo exhibition, completed a book for Thames and Hudson, and her street art has been bought and archived by the National Gallery of Australia.

It's fun discovering street art in quiet city laneways...

(Melbourne municipal cleaners made a bit of a blunder a few weeks ago, unwittingly painting over a treasured artwork by Banksy in Melbourne. It seems it's happened before.)

this is wonderful! I love this kind of work! I showed the other day the work of Banksy to my students, we made a great work in class about something like this, I´ll post something of this, maybe this week.
XOXO!
