須藤元気(Genki Sudo) WORLD ORDER in New York

If you disregard the dodgy pop music, you might find this rather fun. I like it.

(須藤元気 is the only former kickboxer I've heard of* who is also a musician, actor, writer and dancer ... an interesting mix!).

* well, to be honest, I don't know anything about kickboxing ....   but I think I spotted a nod to the maori haka in this clip. Maybe.

I almost thought I was just a little too busy to watch, that I was just passing through to check in on you -- then I came to my senses and clicked "play." What a wonderfully compelling piece! And I never cease to be simultaneously impressed and appalled at New Yorkers' ability to ignore what's happening in front of them -- it's only the tourists (even for children!) who stop to watch; the city just absorbs everything.

Yes - I was intrigued by the people who are too busy texting, or perhaps just too jaded, to enjoy the spectacle ...
