Information is beautiful

Being a highly visual learner, I love finding clear and innovative visual representations of complex data. Today I found a treasure trove of infographics that use colour and symbols really effectively to communicate detailed statistics and intricate relationships.

Such images remind me of this clever web project (you might also like to see its creator, Jonathan Harris, talk about visual story-telling if you have some spare time ...).
