Colour me happy

My general preference for black and charcoal-grey clothing may belie the fact that I'm absolutely passionate about colour. As I drift off to sleep at night I often think about specific colour combinations, and I'm always on the lookout for surprising and sympathetic colours in both natural and designed environments. Many of my dreams are simply abstract explorations of colour and pattern ...

I process many forms of information synaesthetically (for example, I see the days of the week, months, numbers and people's names in specific colours), and would love to hear your stories if you share this kind of experience!

Hi J, no I don't visualise that way, but I saw a documentary about a 'human calculator' which suggests that it is by visualising datasets, such as numbers, characters or words, by colour (and also by size) that this individual was able to process such enormous numbers, as well as learn new languages in a couple of days!
