Aakash Nihalani

Aakash Nihalani's playful street art makes me smile...
He uses colourful tape and the inspiration of urban geometry to create his simple, charming pieces.

Streetlife

I hate pointless tagging but sometimes I like grafitti (if it's witty or pretty).

There are a few good examples over here.

Miso

Here in Melbourne we're really lucky to have a vibrant, diverse art culture. 21-year-old Miso (a.k.a. Stanislava Pinchuk) creates beautiful street art that often captures the spirit of the Ukraine, her home country.

An inspiring young talent, Miso has already held a solo exhibition, completed a book for Thames and Hudson, and her street art has been bought and archived by the National Gallery of Australia.

It's fun discovering street art in quiet city laneways...

(Melbourne municipal cleaners made a bit of a blunder a few weeks ago, unwittingly painting over a treasured artwork by Banksy in Melbourne. It seems it's happened before.)
